Antigone is Not Available Right Now. A performance staged as a live zoom conversation with a global cast of characters, including Antigone in the underworld. Over the past two thousand years, Antigone has represented moral agency, Christian martyrdom, and willful rebellion against many different forms of authoritarianism. I’ve sought to reinterpret her character and her spirit of resistance in light of the political forces that currently undermine democratic values around the world.
